Just my luck!
Do you wish upon a shooting star?
-no, cos i haven’t seen one.
I was with boyfriend last 11/18/2011 and we strolled around Tiendesitas and found this antique shop that sells coins, antique statues and classic comics from 1800s. she is selling fragments of a shooting star.
So about the star, which looks like a black stone, the lady told us about the luck it brings. People buy and actually go back there to buy more of it since they know that those bulalakaws bring good fortune to them. It’s kinda cheap so we gave it a try and bought 2 stones, 1 for each us. The lady instructed us to put it inside our bags or wallets and never remove it. She also said that it would only work if you believe in it. We actually followed what she instructed us to do.
I was expecting showers of luck that the star i bought may bring , but not until I lost it together with my wallet.
The thought of I had something to call my own lucky charm and the fact that it was something from the skies.. simply amazed me. But I guess I was so wrong to call it lucky even though I haven’t experienced any luck from the day i owned it.
And now that it’s gone together with my wallet that has 17 hundred pesos in it, so cos of what happened, im considering that stone as just a piece of shit. I kind of wasted my money for it and not only that, it also took my money away. :| No, it is not my fault why it was lot, i think somebody took it.
yeah, nevermind. I just felt the need to document this. K.
