1. A visit to Himlayan

In our religion, it’s not a requirement to visit in cemeteries during November 1 or 2. We believe that when a person dies the soul will proceed immediately to its destination: Heaven or Hell. Nothing’s left here but the body. You can’t pray for a person once he passed away. His life has ended and there are no chances that he could repent from all his sins and ask God for forgiveness. Our prayers won’t help, actually. So instead for praying for the dead, just pray for those souls who are not yet save before it’s too late for them.

Every Undas, it is our tradition to visit our relatives who already left the world for afterlife. Mom said we do this to give appreciation and pay respect to the memories we have shared together when they were still in our presence.

Anyway, it was raining when we visited Himlayan Memorial Park last November 2. I was glad that there’s only a minimal number of people around that time. I can enjoy the night peacefully and no hassle for parking space. I brought my camera w me cos I know i’d get bored in our stay there.

It’s hard to take photos at night w minimal use of flash and use only the resources around.
